Phoenix, AZ – The Vox Company, an AI-driven business solutions firm, has been named AZ Venture of the Year at Grand Canyon University’s Demo Day, a prestigious competition highlighting the region’s top emerging startups.

Founded by Kevin Vega and Suman Dangol, The Vox Company specializes in custom AI solutions and innovative web design, helping businesses enhance their digital presence and streamline operations through cutting-edge automation. The award, which includes a $5,000 prize, was presented at Canyon Ventures, GCU’s business incubator.

Pioneering AI & Web Innovation

The Vox Company stood out among seven competing startups with its unique blend of AI automation and high-performance web design. Their approach empowers businesses by providing intelligent, scalable solutions that improve efficiency and customer engagement.

“We’re building a future where AI and web design work seamlessly together,” said Dangol. “Our goal is to turn Phoenix into the ‘Silicon Desert’ , a hub for innovation and technology.”

During their winning pitch, Vega and Dangol showcased how The Vox Company integrates AI int businesses giving them both a strong digital presence and the tools to automate key processes.

From Startup to Industry Leader

This victory marks a full-circle moment for the founders, who first gained recognition in 2020 by winning GCU’s Canyon Challenge with their food delivery startup, LopesEat.

“That first win put us on the map as entrepreneurs,” said Vega, who later worked with Exponential Destiny, a nonprofit training students in AI and virtual reality. Dangol, meanwhile, joined the team at  Jotted, a next-gen AI note-taking app.

Their decision to reunite and create The Vox Company was driven by their shared passion for AI and web innovation, positioning them as leaders in business automation and digital transformation.

Recognition & What’s Next

The judging panel featuring Greg Barr (Phoenix Business Journal Editor-in-Chief), Ashley Sankar (Founder of NineteenTwenty and ‘Shark Tank’ winner), and Nick Kasten (VP of Strategy at National Bank of Arizona) praised The Vox Company’s scalability and market impact.

“Winning this award is proof that what we’re building matters,” said Vega. “We’re not just designing websites, we’re building AI-powered digital experiences that transform how businesses operate.”

Moving forward, The Vox Company plans to expand its work with law firms, startups, nonprofits, and e-commerce businesses, continuing to push Arizona’s tech ecosystem forward.
